Houston home sales are 5.6 percent ahead of 2017, but sales in all price ranges declined in September.  The Houston area has not seen such low sales figures since March. Homes in the $250,000 – $499,999 price range had the sharpest decline last month. Total property sales are down 4.4% compared to September 2017. Currently, inventory of single-family homes is at a 4.0-months supply, and the average days on the market is up to 52.
