Houston area home sales gained momentum in October with single-family home sales in all price ranges showing upward movement. Homes priced $250,000 – $499,999 had the greatest increase. Sales of all property types were up 6.0-percent on a year-to-year basis. Inventory of single-family homes is at a 3.9-months supply, and the average days on the market is up to 57.
