

According to the Houston Association of Realtors, the market remains strong despite seasonal slowdowns. Single-family home sales rose 5.3% year-over-year, though they dipped 9.1% month-over-month. Inventory levels across the Houston area remain healthy, with active listings still higher than this time last year, even as monthly growth begins to level off.
Increased sales activity caused months of inventory to dip slightly from August. Overall property sales outpaced 2024 levels, rising 5.0% year-over-year, but down 8% month-over-month. Homes spent an average of 55 days on the market, a modest increase from previous months.
