The Houston area is still doing better than the 2020 pandemic days, but due to limited inventory, the number of sales is continuing to decrease. This could be due to sellers worried about finding a place to live if they sell.
Sales in most price ranges continued to decline in September, while inventory dropped to a 1.8-months supply. The current national inventory is 2.6 months. Days on market inched up to 29 versus 51 days last year.
