HOUSTON AREA HOME SALES HAVE A LITTLE PEP IN THEIR STEP

Houston area single-family home sales pepped up in May, although the month ended with 10.4 percent fewer sales than May 2022. This is the 14th consecutive month of slowing sales volume. Housing inventory reached a 2.8-months supply, which is 1.3 months higher than last year. Bidding wars are still common when homes are listed and priced correctly for the location and condition.
