In May, home sales in the Houston area saw an uptick, but this momentum did not carry into June. June marked the second consecutive month of year-over-year declines in home sales. Single-family home sales fell by 11.6% compared to the previous year and by 10.62% from May. The months of inventory increased from a 3.0-month supply last June to 4.3 months, the highest level since October 2012, which had a 4.4-month supply.
