Houston area home sales came to life in December to close 2019 on a high note. December single-family sales showed gains in all price ranges. Homes priced from $250,000 to $500,000 showed the largest increase in sales.
On a yearly basis, 2019 total property sales exceeded 2018 by 4.8% . Total property sales were 14.7% higher in December 2019 vs 2018.
Days on market edged up to 63 while inventory dropped to a 3.4-months supply.
