HOUSTON AREA HOME SALES IMPACTED BY HURRICANE

Single-family home sales in the Houston area increased by 1.8 percent year-over-year, but saw a decline on a month-to-month basis. July marked the third consecutive month of declining total property sales, with a 2.1 percent decrease year-over-year and a 1.8 percent drop from the previous month. The months of inventory remained unchanged, while the days on market decreased from 46 to 44 days.
