Leslie Lerner announced the launch of Leslie Lerner Properties. Throughout the years, Lerner has listened to comments regarding high-commission rates and has taken steps to offer a unique and personally designed commission structure that can save buyers and sellers money. Although the rates are lower, the service and value have not been compromised. 

“Leslie Lerner Properties will list homes that are $300,000 or more for $4,500. Those homes that are less than $300,000 will be listed for 1.5 percent. These amounts do not include the buyers agent’s commission that will be added to the overall fee on the listing agreement,” said Lerner, who was a teacher in the Houston Independent School District for 10 years.

When purchasing a home, Leslie Lerner Properties strives to shift the initial “shopping” to online resources. By using information provided by the multiple listing service, buyers can choose homes they would like to personally view and eliminate those that do not meet their needs.

“The elimination of homes that are actually visited can save the buyer money if working with Leslie Lerner Properties. This is how it works: if we accompany a buyer to one to five homes they will be rebated 1.5 percent of the total commission at closing; six to 10 homes qualify for a 1 percent rebate and over 10 homes will not qualify for reduced commissions.”

Lerner has been selling real estate since 1993. She has sold homes, condominiums/lofts, lots and acreage from $40,000 into the millions.

Through the years she has worked with clients relocating to Houston and surrounding areas on purchases and rentals. Many of the people she works with are repeat clients.
